I was not a huge fan of their Ice Cream or Gelato, but I am a huge fan of Lavazza Coffee, and that is the brand that they advertised, so let's just say I drank a few cups of it. Upon my first visit, I opted for a Cappuccino, nothing special, and they stubbed their toes on the Steamed Milk, but every visit after that I opted for a Bold Coffee, straight up, and it seemed to get better each time.

While in Seaside, we stayed in the condo just upstairs, so I knew I had to have some gelato after completing the half marathon. I chose the chocolate and hazelnut flavors together, essentially making my own nutella. The prices were on par with it being seaside, and the staff was friendly enough. However, their gelato is on the icy side - too cold and too crisp, not creamy enough. They get points for making it themselves. They've got a good selection of gelato and ice cream, and even the chocolate-dipped key lime pie on a stick, so I'll try those when I'm back in town.

Great atmosphere because it is in the town center of Seaside. However, it's just average ice cream and the gelato is marginally decent. Be prepared to pay six dollars for each scoop whether it's ice cream or gelato. Good for a one time visit and people watching but other than that, we will not be back.

Yes! We got the Cookie Monster ice cream, the best ice cream in the area! There is a reason the line is longer here than other ice cream shops. Be patient, it's worth the wait. Serves regular ice cream, gelato, and other desserts. Can also mix treats in the ice cream marble slab style. The Cookie Monster is a must. Cookies and cream ice cream with Oreos and a fresh chocolate chip cookie mixed in.

The ladies behind the counter were kind and helpful. We sampled quite a few flavors with their help and ended up taking their recommendation to combine vanilla gelato with orange sorbet - what a great tip! Lemon meringue gelato was also top notch.

I had the raspberry cheesecake and my daughter had the chocolate, both were super good. The workers were nice as well. Only reason for the 4 star is the price. It's a bit expensive for the amount you get.

We had a shortcake cookie and a brownie with gelato sherbet. It was alright but after the three dollar water (they would not give me a glass of tap water) we dropped 20 bucks. I'm not afraid to spend money on good dessert but this was not a $20 feast.

While in staying in Seaside I am sure most people will seek this place out and it's worth a try. However, with the limited ice cream flavors, mediocre gelato, and unfriendly service I would avoid it. Especially considering so many other ice cream places are now opening in Seaside. It always seems to be packed - probably because it's easy and noticeable in the central square - but there are plenty of other places to go. Trust me!

After lunch and before heading back to the beach, we stop by for a cheat! My daughter wanted strawberry ice cream BUT I had the shortcake! It was amazing and really sweet! But more amazing! Employees were very friendly and nice, however they are very pricey. 2 waters for $5.50 + ice cream come + shortcake = $17. Ouch!

Expensive but delicious. Tried sample of gelato but went for their regular mint chip. Mmm.

Pricey, but worth every penny. I've been to many ice cream places - in the US and in Europe. This one was the first that passed as really enjoyable here in the US.

The quality is good, however they have reduced their portion size so dramatically that it's now insulting compared to the price. One can get over paying more for something nice in a nice setting, but not when $6 gets you two tablespoons of gelato. This is no exaggeration, and is probably why Frost Bites, the ice cream cart a block away consistently has a 20 minute wait for treats whereas that used to be the situation at Heavenly. We won't go back.

The shop was super packed when we came here late afternoon and you would expect the workers to be a bit more appreciative of the patronage but no, quite the contrary... The service here was atrocious; they give you the SMALLEST scoop of gelato for the $4+ that you are paying - ridiculous. The workers themselves were super UNfriendly and appeared annoyed to be serving you. While they have plenty of gelato flavor options, there's quite a disappointingly meager supply of ice cream flavors. :( sad day. With the convenient location smack dab in the middle of downtown Seaside, you may find me coming back here, but I definitely would not seek out the place.

Overpriced & horribly RUDE people!!! The ice cream & gelato is not even very good! I have seriously never encountered such rude people in all my life & this is the second time I've been. We decided to give them another try b/c we thought they were maybe just having a bad day during spring break. But this time was even worse!!! Heavenly Shortcakes is anything but "Heavenly"!!!! Do yourself a favor & go to Frost Bites!! Steer clear of this place...they act as if they are highly annoyed to serve you and you end up being the one annoyed because you've just spent $35 for several bad cups of gelato & rude treatment by punk kids!

I had no problems with this place, but can't really laud it, either. They had an impressive array of gelato flavors (which seems to be the focus here) and other things on the menu, as well. I wasn't impressed with the value, however. I understand this is a touristy place with high markups, but felt a little underwhelmed after my visit.

Delicious gelato, good ice cream, and some cupcakes! To be honest, the cupcakes didn't look that appetizing (something I could make for less money at home), but the gelato was great and there is a large variety of flavors. The employees were friendly and attentive to us.

5 stars. Woohoo! As good as it gets for the area. Everyone has an opinion right? You, me, certainly my wife and the kids too. This is our favorite Ice Cream spot in the area. I've had better Ice Cream, gelato and service but when you see the other ice cream shops in the area you'll end up coming back here. Price not as bad as some of the places around. I love Seaside and Heavenly is right in the middle. Long lines but they move quickly. Service was good. Kids behind the counter just like most places but they were fairly happy to let you try a flavor or two. On the small side for selection of ice cream but a decent number of gelatos. I loved the key lime flavor. A lot of the ice cream specialty shops in the area serve Edy's Ice Cream. Not Heavenly. I'm not sure what it was but we all liked it.

Over priced ice cream for what you get. $7.50 for a small cup is crazy. Service could be a little more friendly as well.

I'm sorry...but I've had "Gelato" and Gelato(labelled as such) is NOT what they are selling here. More like 'crunchy yogurt'? Yuck For the kids only folks.... Pass. Skip.

Our favorites here are the fruit flavored gelatos. Yes, they are pricey (it is Seaside) and fairly small (gelato is supposed to be), but my kids always love coming here. And we've always had good service.

Pretty Cute little spot in the quaint "downtown" area of Seaside, Fl. They have baked goods- including some pretty good looking cupcakes- as well as ice cream and my favorite, gelato! It's not the best gelato I've had (the flavor isn't quite as saturated as I usually expect in gelato) but its good. And you can tell everything is made in-house, so bonus points for that. Staff was friendly and was just a cute spot to grab a sweet and sit at the picnic tables outside to people watch and enjoy the sunshine!

Great selection of Ice Cream and Gelato, great starfish shaped brownies. Good way to spend your day at Seaside.
